Who is GreenEarthTV.com?

GreenEarthTV is an Atlanta-based organization dedicated to education and information exchange on environmental concerns in the South Eastern United States.

Atlanta is currently down to 27 percent tree canopy. A city the size of Atlanta requires 40 percent to maintain air quality. One acre of trees produces enough oxygen for 18 people to breathe each day and eliminates as much carbon dioxide from the air as is produced from driving a car 26,000 miles.

Since Major construction companies are given free reign to clear cut trees, we are seeking legislation that will demand local governments to issue fines for unlawful tree cutting beyond the alloted amounts.

Green Earth TV is currently working with the Captain Planet Foundation and the Fulton County School System to teach and film conservation techniques to school age children.
